PB & J Crispy Treats
 
 
Ingredients
  • 6 tablespoons (¾ of a stick) butter
  • ½ cup peanut butter
  • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 (10 ounce) package Marshmallows
  • 5 cups Fruity Pebbles (or other fruit flavored crispy rice cereal)
Instructions
  1. Line an 8x8x2-inch cake pan with parchment paper, leaving about a 1-inch overhang on to opposite sides.
  2. In a large pot, melt butter over medium-low heat. Stir in the peanut butter and salt until the peanut butter is melted.
  3. Turn the heat off and stir in the marshmallows until smooth.
  4. Remove the pot from the stove and stir in the cereal. Quickly spread the mixture into the prepared pan. Flatten the mix evenly with a spatula or buttered piece of parchment paper, pressing into the edges and corners.
  5. Let cool to room temperature (about 30 minutes), then cut into squares to serve. If you’re lucky enough to have leftovers, store them in an airtight container at room temperature.
